The Calculator application is a valuable tool for professionals involved in various industries including pressure vessel fabrication, process equipment fabrication, welding piping, insulation, ducting, heavy equipment fabrication, storage tank construction, agitator manufacturing, mechanical equipment production and industrial fabrication. It offers efficient calculations for determining the necessary dimensions in the construction of flat pattern segments such as lobsterback bends, elbows, tee pieces, frustum cones, truncated pipes, truncated cones with an accessible vertex, and using the triangulation method. Additionally, it provides layouts for pipe to cone intersections at perpendicular angles to the axis, pipe truncation by radius, full cone layouts, rectangle to round or square to round transition layouts, round to rectangle or round to square transition layouts, truncated pyramid layouts, and screw flight layouts.

An added feature of this application is the ability to save the developed designs as DXF files. By exporting the flat pattern as a DXF file, users can easily open it with any CAD program such as AutoCAD or DWG FastView. The DXF file can then be used for precise cutting of the sheet on a laser or CNC machine. Furthermore, users can also utilize AutoCAD on their mobile devices or utilize software such as DWG FastView, SchemataCAD viewer DWG/DFX, or AutoDWG DWGSee for viewing purposes.
